Infrastructure Toronto
Pan Am Games Project, West Donlands Flood Protection Land Form (2012)
We were hired to install temporary and permanent traffic signals, as well as new decorative street lighting, for the first phase of the West Donlands Road Redevelopment Project for the 2015 Pan Am Games.
Because of the high-profile nature of this project, our work was closely monitored by Infrastructure Ontario, Toronto Hydro, Lea Consulting, and Elite Construction.
The scope of the work included:
- Installation of temporary traffic signals at the intersections of King St. East and River St, and Queen St. East and River St.
- Installation of permanent traffic signals along River St. at the intersections of King St. East, Queen St, and Bayview Ave, as well as at Bayview Ave. and Front St.
- Installation of 67 decorative street lights (poles and fixtures), complete with underground plant
Our component of the overall project was completed on time, allowing the owner to begin the next phase of construction on schedule.
